My ideal holiday

Recently, I went to Langkawi and I found a few places really interesting and funfilling. I think if you are Malaysian you should visit Langkawi at least for once. The legendary city offers you more than you expect.

To tell about langkawi is located off the coast of Kedah is a cluster of 99 islands offering the best of many worlds: beautiful beaches, world- class infrastructure, mangroves rich in flora and fauna, ultra- cheap duty-free shopping and fascinating legends.

Langkawi has a lingering legend woven into its history. Ask anyone on the island about the tragic story of a beautiful young lady named Mahsuri, and you'll hear a tale of love, jealousy and a curse that was placed upon the island by her for seven generations. Mahsuri was a young woman who lived in Langkawi, an island in Kedah, Malaysia, during the late 18th century. According to folklore, she was accused of adultery and executed by stabbing. Her tomb, Makam Mahsuri, has become a tourist attraction on the island

Langkawi is the perfect place for enjoying great outdoor activities such snorkeling, golf, Marine Park, water sports; hire a boat and other recreational activities for instance taking a cable car to the top of the mountain.

Cable car was awesome.This was an unforgetable experience for me. As it was my first time it was really thrilling.Throughout the 20-minute ride, I passed over jungle waterfalls and a thick carpet of virgin rainforest. Travelling at a steep incline of 42 degrees, over a distance of 2.2 kilometres from the base station to the two mountain-top stations, even the gentlest breeze is enough to send one’s stomach churning. But once I got used to the sensation of being airborne, the ride quickly turns into an amazing, exhilarating experience.
