Let's explore and recollect some of Malysia's treasured games and pastimes.
Congkak

A mathematical game played since antiquity, Congkak started ot as holes bore into the ground with tamarind seeds which were the favourite pastime back then.Congkak boards and their accompanying seeds come in a variety of shapes and sizes as well as materials.The traditional ones are usually handcrafted from solid rubber tree wood and fashioned into an oblonged shape and depending on the skill of the wood crafter, can be intricately patterned or carved with leaves or flower motifs.
WAU

The Malaysian Wau is a kite,but its soft curvatures and patterns makes it distinctively different from western ones. The Wau is generally flown around coastal areas such as Kelantan, which is on the East coast of Malaysia, and especially so after the rice harvest season.
BATU SEREMBAN

Traditionally played with five little sewn sacks or crushed pebbles it was a popular game with children and women. Played individually or in groups of two to five people,Batu Seremban's older variants utilised rubber seeds ,pebbles or other round small objects.
